MF Lightning
The MF Lightning is a performance shortboard for intermediate to expert surfers who want immediate acceleration and sharp, committed surfing in 2 to 6 foot waves. It is aimed at surfers who enjoy attacking the pocket and linking explosive manoeuvres.
Its balanced high-acceleration rocker works with a deep single-to-double concave to create lift from take-off. Sensitive medium-low rails and a squash tail keep the board responsive under the back foot, supporting tight pivots, vertical attacks and precise carves.

Outline Narrower squash tail with no hip for added control; nose slightly narrower with extra flip
Rocker Same tail rocker as the DNA, but straightened between the feet for more speed. Increased nose lift to fit tight in the pocket.
Rails Flattened deck to add foam under the chest; dropped rails for sensitivity
Concave Flatter under the front foot for instant acceleration; deep single concave between the fins for extra lift and speed.
Tail Slight Narrow Squash Tail
Fins Thruster, 3 Fin. Rear fin moved forward 1/8" for a tighter turning radius in smaller waves.
