Shipping policy
1. Order Origin & Dispatch
All orders placed on DHD Surf Europe are prepared, checked and dispatched directly from our central European warehouse located in Soorts-Hossegor (Landes, France), the European capital of surfing.
2. Delivery Areas Served
We deliver to all countries of the European Union and neighbouring areas:
- Metropolitan France and Corsica
- European Union: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, etc.
- Switzerland & United Kingdom (UK) (subject to local customs formalities).
- The French overseas departments and territories are not served directly for hard surfboards.
3. Free Delivery for Accessories
- FREE delivery on orders of €70 or more for all accessories and clothing (FCS II/Futures fins, deck grips, leashes, board bags, wax, T-shirts) in metropolitan France (Pick-up Point or Home Delivery depending on the basket).
- For orders under €70, shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout from €3.95.

B. Hard Surfboards (Secure Bulky Parcels)
Special Reinforced Surfboard Packaging: Each DHD Surfboard is given high-security, armoured packaging:
- Full protection of the nose, tail and rails with high-density impact-resistant foam shells.
- Double packaging in thick bubble wrap.
- Reinforced double-wall cardboard for heavy transport.
- Dispatch via a carrier specialising in bulky freight (Geodis Calberson / DB Schenker / DPD Freight) with transport insurance included.

5. Receipt & Mandatory Inspection on Delivery
Upon receipt of a surfboard:
- Always check the condition of the parcel and the board in the presence of the delivery driver.
- If damage is observed, note precise and detailed reservations on the delivery note (e.g. “Cardboard crushed on the right side, board rail fractured”) and refuse the parcel if the board is damaged.
- Contact our After-Sales Service within 48 hours at contact@dhdsurf.eu with photographs of the parcel and the board.
