Refund policy

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

In accordance with European legislation, you have a statutory period of 14 calendar days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to give a reason.

2. Return Eligibility Conditions

For a return to be accepted and refunded:

  • The product must be returned new, unused, unwaxed and in its intact original packaging, with all labels, protective elements and accessories supplied.
  • Important for surfboards: Any board that has had wax applied, been taken into the water, has traces of an applied pad or indentations cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Custom orders (Custom Surfboards): In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to boards made to measure or customised according to the customer's precise specifications.

3. Return Procedure

  1. Notification: Submit your request by e-mail to contact@dhdsurf.eu or via our contact form, specifying your order number.
  2. Return authorisation: Our customer service team will send you a return slip with instructions for reshipping.
  3. Dispatch of the parcel: Carefully package the product and send it to our central warehouse:

4. Refund Terms

  • Upon receipt and compliance inspection by our logistics team in Hossegor, the refund will be issued within a maximum period of 14 days.
  • The refund will be made via the same payment method used for the initial order (Bank card, PayPal, Scalapay/Klarna, Apple Pay).
  • Return shipping costs remain the customer's responsibility, except in the event of a delivery error attributable to our services or a defective product recognised under the guarantee.
