Terms of sale
1. Preamble & Seller Identification
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTCS”) govern all sales concluded on the DHD Surf Europe website (https://www.dhdsurf.eu), operated by:

Any order placed on the website implies the customer's unconditional acceptance of these GTCS.
2. Products & Technical Specifications
The essential characteristics of the surfboards (model, length, width, thickness, volume in litres, type of FCS II or Futures fin boxes, type of PU or EPS foam blank, lamination) and accessories are described and presented as accurately as possible on the product pages. Photographs and visuals are non-contractual insofar as the shape and glassing of a handmade surfboard may present very slight variations in appearance.
3. Prices & Payment Terms
- Currency: Prices are stated in Euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC), at the legal VAT rate applicable in France and the countries of the European Union.
- Accepted payments:
- Bank cards (Visa, MasterCard, Carte Bleue, American Express) via a secure 3D Secure payment system.
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay.
- PayPal.
- Interest-free instalment payments (3 or 4 instalments) via Klarna / Scalapay.
4. Delivery & Receipt
Shipping times and rates are those defined in the Shipping Policy. Risk transfers when the customer physically takes possession of the products. In the event of a damaged parcel, the customer must make precise handwritten reservations on the carrier's delivery note or refuse delivery.
5. Right of Withdrawal
Private customers have 14 clear days to exercise their right of withdrawal from receipt of the parcel (excluding custom-made, made-to-measure surfboards). The procedure is specified in the Returns Policy.
6. Statutory Guarantees & After-Sales Service
All our products benefit from:
- The statutory guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
- The guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
Guarantee exclusions: Breakage while surfing due to impacts, powerful waves, contact with the seabed, torn-off fins, excessive exposure to heat (delamination caused by sunlight in a closed car) results from the hazards of sporting activity and is not covered by the manufacturer's guarantee.
7. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
These GTCS are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing agreement, the customer may use the consumer mediation service free of charge or refer the matter to the competent courts.
