The Utopia is built on Mick Fanning's signature rocker: a flatter rocker combined with less front-foot concave than the DNA. A wider nose and a pronounced squash tail let it glide from section to section while staying controllable in turns. The fins are clustered closer together, as on a twin.
It carries speed and moves a lot of water, with less slide, which keeps maximum drive from one turn to the next.
Level: intermediate to expert. Ideal waves: 1 to 6 ft.
