MF DNA FCS

The MF DNA is Mick Fanning's proven high-performance shortboard for quality waves. Designed for control, fluidity and precision, it's the board Mick has relied on throughout his competitive career at events such as Bells, Snapper and France. It excels in bigger, more powerful waves, but in the right hands, it can also come alive in more modest conditions.  

THE DETAILS:

Over the past two and a half years, we've made some subtle but important changes to the DNA:

- Concave adjustments: slightly flattened under the front foot to help the board plane earlier and increased concave at the fins.

- Foam distribution: slight shift of foam under the front foot to improve paddling power without weighing down the rails.

- Rail profile: medium to low rail, slightly refined to increase grip.

- Deck profile: slightly flattened between the feet to improve stability during high-speed pushes, especially on open faces. 

HOW IT SURFS:

Custom-designed around Mick's signature ‘Fanning Wrap’, the MF DNA excels in 3-6 foot conditions. It surfs with speed, power and fluidity - accelerating quickly, maintaining momentum through turns and linking sections with ease. In difficult conditions, it locks in and holds its rails, giving you the confidence to push hard without losing control.
